Dark Chocolate Chambord Fondue

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup whipping cream
  • 2 slices of pound cake, cut into 6 pieces each
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
  • 3 strawberries per person
  • 2 tablespoons chambord liqueur
  • 6 pieces of pineapple, fresh or canned

Directions

Bring whipping cream to a boil in small sauce pan. Remove from heat. Add chocolate morsels and stir until creamy smooth. Add Chambord
liqueur and stir until combined. On each plate place 6 pieces of cake, 3 strawberries and 2 pieces of pineapple. Drizzle ¼ cup of fondue over cake and fruit, serve warm.

Fondue may be left in warm dish to dip cake and fruit into if desired. ½ cup evaporated milk can be substituted for heavy whipping cream if desired.
