American Dairy Association Ice Cream Social
to benefit Marlin Jackson’s Fight for Life Foundation
INDIANAPOLIS – Join the American Dairy Association of Indiana and its Hoosier Dairy Farm Families as they “Scream for Ice Cream” at the 21st annual Ice Cream Social on the Circle!
Delicious chocolate, strawberry, caramel, and butterscotch sundaes are on the menu on Friday, July 9, from 11 am to 2 pm, on the northwest quadrant of Monument Circle in Downtown Indianapolis.
For just $3, ice cream lovers can indulge their taste buds with enormous sundaes made from delicious Edy’s Slow Churned Light Ice Cream drizzled with a variety of Smuckers syrups, sprinkled with an array of toppings and crowned with a gigantic dollop of whipped cream.

One deserving young lady will have the honor of being crowned the 40th Indiana Dairy Princess. The American Dairy Association of Indiana will hold the program July 27, 2010 at the Embassy Suites North in Indianapolis.
The dairy princess contest is sponsored by Indiana dairy farmers through the checkoff program.
Requirements:
- Must represent a dairy organization; for example, breed association, dairy cooperative, dairy processor, etc.
- Single ladies between the ages of sixteen and 21.
- Background in agriculture, specifically dairy production and/or marketing.
- Available to attend dairy functions as scheduled.
- Must use scholarship money for continuing education programs or classes.

Contestants will compete for the crown and the chance to be the spokesperson for the Indiana dairy industry through public relations appearances throughout the year.
Candidates are judged on personality, enthusiasm for promotion, knowledge of the dairy industry and communication skills. The crowned princess will earn a $1000 scholarship for continued education. |
