Ale Marinade for Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 bottles brown beer (such as Samuel Adams)
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 large block cheddar cheese (such as Cabot Mild or Sharp Cheddar)

Directions:
Bring ingredients (except cheese) to boil, boil for a couple minutes, then let cool. Add cheese and let sit for 72 hours. Discard liquid and taste the new flavor that the cheese has acquired.
